Villa Emilia is a B&B located in a quiet private road, aside from Milan’s turmoil. The house was built in the Twenties, and it’s part of a residential project plan to build terraced houses, among the first occurring in the city of Milan. Recently the building has been renovated, and today it still keeps some of its original aspects.
Check-in is open from 2:30 PM to 8 PM, and is handled by the staff who speaks Italian, English and French. Guests reception includes giving informations on how to get around the city and about its most famous interest points. Each of the two rooms in the B&B is provided with a private bathroom, free WiFi, led TV, heating and air conditioning.
From 8 to 10 AM breakfast is served by staff to the guests, who may consume it inside the room or outside in the garden. The option of eating breakfast earlier or later than the time span mentioned above stays open, but without staff assistance. The kitchen may be used by guests to make coffee, tea, or to heat pre-made foods, but not to cook dishes.
The B&B is located in a private road of Milan. As such, it is able to offer a parking slot to guests from the ones in front of the household. Please remember that it is necessary to request the reserved parking spot in advance. For those who need to park their bikes, there is a spot available with enough space between the front gate and the main entrance.
The house is provided with an internal private garden next to the kitchen, which use is free at any given time without restriction. In the garden the guests will find a large parasol, chairs and a coffee table where to have a meal, or maybe smoke. There is also a comfortable garden swing sofas, where to pass some time and relax.
This room is centered on the floral theme of the red tulip, from which derives its bright color. Its window overlooks the inner garden. The bathroom is placed outside, leaving more free space inside of the room so that even three people could find enough space to fit comfortably. This is also the reason why the Tulipani shines also for guests that prefer separated beds and not a double bed.
